So I downloaded a Steve Lawler set today and for the first time I noticed that as the set went along the info of the set was updated to reflect the song that was playing.
I've never seen this before and think it's pretty cool.
I know everyone can't play .m4a (.mp4) tracks but most people these days have itunes which will definitely play them.
Basically I'd like to find out how you can incorporate the track names into the set. What program do you use to time the text to pop up at the right time etc?
Thanks lads,
Steve

You can use a program like Garageband or other podcast creating software.
I made a video last month on how to do it: Click here

yeah all of my podcasts are made in garageband to do exactly this... it's great because for each track i:
a) have the artist, song, remix, label information
b) photo of the artist
c) link to purchase the track
d) chapter/bookmark
and you can store text (i.e. tracklisting for the entire set) in the file as well.
i find it to be great too, because on your ipod/iphone you can forward to chapters (i.e. songs) through the set.

yeah i usually just troll the dj booth section. not nearly a good enough dj to really speak up in this section.
if you need any help on doing the entire podcast thing i'd be happy to walk you through it from WAV file all the way through to completion.
take a look at http://web.me.com/keith_bowden/ and you can see what i do with it. even setup a feedburner feed so i can track downloads.
