he's no different than a lot of those guys who have known nothing else their whole life other than their sport... he can't let go. he's one wishy washy bastard. I knew he was full of shit about staying retired this time too- he just wanted to avoid the rigors of training camp and shit.

Michael Jordan had a reason to come back a third time, because his idea was more like "I am the greatest basketball player to have ever lived, why not teach some of these rookies a thing or two?" Brett Favre has won ONE Superbowl, but set a lot of records and won some other championships, so while he was a great player, his time has passed, and now it's time for him to give it up. But he never will, not until he gets majorly injured by one of those semi-truck sized linebackers.
