any trance, that makes you feel like your flying in your own little world, or "transadental" or in a state of trance where you are just HIGH.. and no not only smoking weed by a song !

The only track that has actually put me in a trance for real,is an old Albion track called Phönix. It has this twisted acid hook that is repeated over and over and over(yet managing not to get monotonous), while the beats and bass builds and builds and builds to insane heights, till your brain feels like its in a frying pan sizzling.I remember I just sat in my room with me headphones on,and looking like I was going to stare my stereo to pieces, while the acid sounds in the track ravaged my brain, causing all sorts of weird, twisted and sinister images flash back and forth before my eyes. The images kept flashing faster and faster as the speed increased, but then suddenly the basskick blasted me back to reality.

It was real headfuck.I was really shook up for a few seconds, but then I realized that this is what "trance" is really all about.A mindblowing experience, literally.

Well...goa for me makes my brain feel all weird, hard to describe.

Progressive does the same but in a different way...if you concentrate on the beat of a good prog tune it tends to do this.

Ambient just makes my mind relax.

Too many to list.
Hot favs and memories go to Tiesto's older sets, Mauro Picotto live at TE and S&G sets.

Re: hypnotic

Yeah progrssive stuff messes with my head, especially on drugs. Trance doesnt really screw me up anymore. I remember last year at GCSSS sasha played this tune, and it span me out, I didnt really understand what was going on in the room. Very odd but nice experiance

Brian Eno

Try Brian Eno's 60 min ambient piece 'Thursday Afternoon', that is hypnotic.
