This was the best party trip I've ever done. 2nd time to Ibiza but we did it properly this time around. I was seriously impressed by the Bora Bora day jams (although I was normally beat from the previous nights' parties) but once the dirty hard-hitting beats started pumping I started moving

We all envy you. Can't see the vids right now (I'm at work). Did you go to the legendary Cafe Del Mar? I swear their compilations are amazing for chillout.

We did hit Cafe del Mar... it's not the same now compared to 2005: Way more families w/ kids now were at the actual cafe; There's a new nice huge patio/building which is the actual cafe now; There's no sandy beach anymore... mostly rocks. The vibe is just different (not bad) but different. Sitting on the rocky beach was still the same feeling watching the sunset. Music was good. Here are some pix:
We did 5 days on Ibiza then few other days in Spain (I break out some costs for Ibiza only). This by no means was cheap for me (maybe for others but not me). I passed on WMC to make this work as I wanted to give it another shot and glad I did.
Flew from Toronto to Barcelona $965 then flew from Barcelona to Ibiza ~$115 one way (we went onto other parts of Spain from Ibiza); club cover charges ranged from 25E - 45E; 5 nts hotel near Ibiza Town (best party location and loads of incredibly beautiful/hot women) ~$500 per person (hotel was ok... a 4star hotel like Garbi is waaay better but 120E per person per nt)... cheaper hotels are in San Antonia but it's too far from the clubs (higher cab fares) and crowds there were not great; food ranged from 5E to 10E (the hotel had a meal plan for 10E per day); drinks outside clubs were ~5E - 10E inside clubs ranged from 15E - 20E for red bull vodkas (water in a small bottle inside club was 8E!). Taxi cabs were a pain in the a$$ as everyone in the nt wants to hit a club... so they're hard to get... private taxis charge at least 10E above normal fares.
I still may do it again in 2010.

There are 12 of us staying at Garbi for 10 nights in Playa d'en bossa as my friend who has gone to Ibiza for 7 years in a row told us the same thing about the crowds in San Antonio. Defitely didn't want to take a chance and be disappointed. Garbi is a little bit more expensive but I know I'm doing this once so I'm going all out I can't freakin wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!9 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn that's nuts man. I've been dreaming of going to Ibiza forever but my money gets sidetracked in other vacations. That club Es Paradis has some nuts water party they do weekly that I want to check out and all those daytime parties look nuts.

I was gonna do house renos to take advantage of the home reno tax credit but then thought f' the renos, Ibiza here I come lol. I can't stay too long in TO and keep travelling every few months it seems especially come winter - but try for at least 1 party trip in the year.

You're gonna have a blast... we were in walking distance to Garbi... from the outside this place loox amazin! Close to Space, Bora Bora too... ooooh I miss Bora Bora.
