Software reverb suggestions?

OK, so in going through my lists of needs, I was kind of thinking about picking up another reverb plugin at some point. All the reverbs I have used so far are OK, but I was wondering how much better the higher priced reverbs really are and if they can really have the kind of impact that makes them worth the price.

In my tracks I generally have 3 reverb busses: Short Verb, Long Verb, and Drum Verb (which is usually very short)

Right now I have:

Logic Space Designer - Good for some things, but not the all-arounder I would expect.

UAD Plate 140 - Sounds really good in drums, vocals and some synths.

Tone2 MultiFX - This is really hit and miss. There are a couple of algorithms that sounds really good, and then some that sound really horrible.

CamelSpace - Surprisingly good for a Multi FX plugin, but better suited to long, wacky reverbs.

I was looking into some of the more expensive reverbs but I'm hesitant to spend the money on higher end verbs without some idea on if they are really worth the extra cost.

Here are a few I have been looking at:

Breverb - $369
Altiverb - $595 (yikes)
Sonnox Reverb - $369

Anyone use any of these and if so are they worth the money? Any other suggestions?

UAudio just came out with a new reverb. Quite nice. I only demoed it briefly but what I heard was definitely preferable over Plate 140 (I A/Bed the two). I'm going to buy it along with Fatso once they're both on sale.

I just use SIR, which is free. You can find lots of good impulses from the more expensive hardware modules and they sound very nearly identical.

Yeah, this would work, except its Windows-only.

Yeah, I saw that, but it's only for UAD-2. I'm planning on upgrading to UAD-2 at some point, but not any time soon.

I use RaySpace for small to medium rooms or weird space effects, and the free epicVerb for "bigger" stuff.

I've used the altiverb extensively on PTHD systems and have to say it's worth the money. We only either use that or Bricasti's at work so you know the level I'm talking about.

My only concern for it is how good it would be for EDM. For orchestral strings, voices/singing, strung instruments the altiverb is without doubt superb, but for electronic drum - I'm not sure - not because I doubt it, but because I haven't applied in those areas. I'm not sure about the smaller and shorter impulses in the altiverb, but it is IMO the best sounding soft reverb for the other application I mentioned.

Nice, thats what I was looking for. Let me know if you get a chance to use it in an EDM setting.

Ahh yes, forgot about that one. I'm a fan of the Waves stuff in general. Thanks!

Yeah, thats the one from Tone2 I am using currently. Some algorithms are surprisingly good, but not for everything.
