I really have to say that music sounds excellent.

But why does it require 6 laptops to make that happen? What are the 5 people in the background even doing there?

they each play a loop in ableton creating new tracks on the fly.

yeah. richie hawtin had an explanation for this on video if anyone can be assed to look for it.

i saw the richie hawtin video, but i dont understand how they can mix without headphones? especially with six decks?

i think everything is synced in ableton, no need for beatmatching or anything like that. they just loop and dick around.
