I need help finding the right digital camera

Hey guys I was hoping someone could recommend a digital camera that also has video. I will mostly be using it to record in club environment, so the sound has to be clear. I'm hoping I can find one for under $400. I've never owned a camera before so I don't really know what they cost. So if anyone has or knows of one please let me know. Thanks.

Check out my video. Tiesto @ Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

I currently use the Sony Cybershot DSC-W55. At the time I bought it for around $300 at Staples. If it's still being sold, the price should be much lower now.

Canon SD970is. Sound quality is excellent on this thing and the LCD screen is AMAZING! Seriously, some pictures look better on the camera's LCD than on a computer screen!

Hmm so it's a coin flip between the Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 vs. Canon SD970is. Ok I'll check out what they have at best buy. Thanks for the help guys, it's appreciated

I've had a Sony and Canon and recommend them both. If you or a friend is a Costco member, you should check out their selection. Easy return policy for 90 days.

Oh, and I forgot to mention. The camera that I mentioned I have doesn't zoom in and out during record mode. The one thing I don't like about the camera. So I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, lowski.

SD880IS>SD970IS IMO. 28mm lens vs 37mm is very handy in club environments. And the 970 has a slow f3.2 lens. The difference in Megapixels is irrelevant as neither lens is sharp enough to resolve the difference.

Edit: shit, just noticed they dropped the 880IS wtf. Everyone I know uses an 880 or 870. Damn things rock. Looks like the SD940IS or the SD960IS is the replacement. Or maybe the SD980IS which looks tasty with its 24-120mm lens.
