Fl Question.

So I have a sound i'm working on woot..and all that jazz.

Anyways, It is composed of 3 ABL2's, ABL2 happens to be a monosynth, and the lead has chords, sounds great. Anyways, Is there a way to make like a "dummy" control box, so I could link all 3 cutoffs, all 3 reso, all 3 decay etc etc from the 3 instances of ABL2..into one box with one cutoff knob, one reso, one decay etc etc.. ?

Basicly a midi controller, but in software format. I was thinking of using a few X/Y pads..but if there is a better way Id like to know.

Not too familiar with the new FL but can you daisy chain VSTs at all?
On Ableton Live for example, you can chain them and then assign the same macro knobs to whatever parameter you want, allowing you to control multiple knobs in each plugin with up to 8 different main knobs.

Does FL have anything similar?

(Bloody hell my technical wording is terrible )

There is indeed.

You can do this using the Fruity Dashboard. You will need to add 3 wheels to the dashboard. (One for cut off, one for reso etc)

Then its a case on linking the desired parameter to the desired wheel.

You can link as many parameters you like to one wheel (as far as I know, I have had up to 10 on one wheel to date)

Give me a shout if you have trouble. It is very easy but I guess only if you know how lol.

Or you can link all of the parameters to the X-Y controller .. Not sure if that works though.

So that's what the dashboard does! I think I'll be using a lot more often now that I know what it does, normally I just used the X/Y Controller when I needed to control multiple parameters.

It does work but it's fiddley and does not give you the same amount of control and options as you get with the dashboard. With the dashboard you can select sliders, wheels and more and of course you have infinite options to the amount you want/need.

Yep. The dashboard was a recent discovery for me. Never really had a play until someone mentioned it. However, since then, amazingly handy.

You get infinite options on how many wheels you want, assign as many parameters you want without conflict etc.

I think it would come in most handy in using FL for livePA's. Before I discovered the dashboard I couldn't really work out a useful and convenient way to do a live PA from FL which would mean transferring files and reconstructing them in ableton (which I could not be arsed to do)
