Ferry Corsten @ Family

So I was wondering how long it would take for me to get from Fraser Island to Brisbane to see Ferry on Sept 10th. I will be at Fraser on the 10th, but would love to catch a bus or something to come and see my favourite dj ever. Anyone with some info? And how is the club Family? Does anyone have an idea about set times? Hows the crowd?

The bus from Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach takes fucking ages - 7 hours or something? If you're in a hurry, it might be worth checking out the tilt train from Maryborogh, though it'll be more pricey. More pricey again would be a flight from Hervey Bay to Brisbane, but it's only like 40 minutes.

Family is a nice club. The crowd is ok, I guess. Bouncers are complete cunts, but that's no real surprise for Brisbane. No idea about set times though, sorry mate.

Edit// Ok, greyhound's website says the trip from Heavey Bay to Brisbane take between 5 and 7 hours. I think it depends on the time of day and/or the route. Ticket (one way) is about $70.

The fare on the tilt train from Maryborogh is actually cheaper than the bus (about $60) and the journey will be quicker (about 4 hours). You have to get your ass to Maryborogh station by 5:20am though, which may be tricky. Or maybe it's not, I dunno

the Family is a great club. Some of the bouncers are ****s but don't tar all of them with the same brush. there are a few decent ones remaining.

that's quite a bit of effort to see Ferry. i hope he doesn't disappoint you should u decide to make the trip in. altho if he's your fav then i guess it won't matter.
