Choice - Acid Eiffel is a brilliant track of epic length as is the tribute to it, Solar Quest - Acid Eye Full you posted in another thread but seems a bit out of place in the chase scene compared to the original song used in that scene.

IMHO, this is the best Laurent Garnier track ever.

Not quite Rez.. full length of Acid Eiffel's studio version is 13:34.

That '94 live version is full length tho. There's also a '06 live version (8:16) featuring lovely live percussions and saxophone.

And for Solar Quest's tribute to the track, Acid Eye Full.. that's not full length on youtube either: 11:00 -> 14:47.

I find Acid Eiffel to be a superior piece of electronic music, I don't think I've heard anything released this year that comes close.

I think it as a superior piece of electronic music too especially compared to music released nowadays. Considering Acid Eiffel is nearly 17 years old now it has stood the test of time very well while many other old skool techno pieces from those days haven't aged well at all.

Agreed. There's something about it that even though it goes for such a huge length of time, I never find myself getting bored or wanting to fast forward it. It's also a song that on my first listen I enjoyed. I find this combination of enjoying a song immediately, yet not tiring of it after many listens to be extremely rare.

My thoughts exactly. It seems most of the time the tracks i like right after the first listen and never get bored of even after years of listening, are something else than trance or house.. mostly of various forms of techno.
