Hey guys,

I know there is a forum for posting your trakcs and look for feedback, but I also know that there are so many talented people here, and as my skills are growing up taking many of your comments,tips,advices, etc. I want you to listen an "almost finished" track.

Please be cruel if it is necesary I really want to know if I suck in something, like mixing, arrangement, choosing sounds, etc.

sounds ok to me only the side chain part you made needs more work otherwise all good

Overall, sounds very good. Mixing is balanced, nothing overwhelming anything else.

The stabs in the intro could stand to be a bit louder. I kept waiting for them to come in before the first break.

Track could use a bit more enhancement effects, just to keep the listener interested. Just little things here and there, nothing major.

Pads sound good after the first break. Present but not overpowering, good.

Track length is good. Just the right length. Not too short, but not so long that it gets boring.

I would think about making some subtle musical variations to the stabs. Maybe at the end of a bar here and there change the notes up just slightly. Not to loose the theme, but to provide a bit more interest. Maybe include the bass in the variations. Again, nothing major, just change a note here and there so the same pattern is not playing constantly for 16 bars.

Overall, I think its a job well done. If you make it just a bit more interesting, it'll be worth sending out.

first question whered you get that kick from its quite nice and crisp.. ?

what did you use to make all this ?

first crit would be the stab kind gets a little boring and monotonous

i do REALLY like the rest of the song. i like the breakdown and when it drops back into everything FULLFORCE it has ALOT of power its nice

one thing i would personally do is bring in the mid bass line maybe at the start of the bar instead of near the end maybe using a high pass filter (the one near the start) kinda to build it up more.. but thats just what i personally would like to hear :P

Hi,

The kick is from Vengeance Essential clubsounds 3 I don't remeber the exact name of the sample but it was prcessed with eq (Waves Req4) and compresed with Sonalksis

I used Sylenth1 almost for every sound, The lead is a combination of two synths (V-station and Sylenth1)

I will work on the stabs/plucks this week to give them some movement and interest.

It does need more Fx's to keep it interesting, your kick echo could maybe have a longer tail as it cuts of to drastic i think.


and as eric said at the into with the stab, as everyone is saying just a few minor tweaks and it will sound nice..

Just from a musical viewpoint, the buildup to me is extremely boring. It took almost 3 minutes for the first chord of the song to change, even the bass was static throughout. At least move the bass around between the root/3rd or something. Even when the bass changes come in after the breakdown, it's only by 1 scale degree, there are plenty of other bassline options available with the chord progression you used.

Though the bass does nice throughout. I'd put some kind of a lower-end bass pad in during the breakdown to fill up those frequencies. Right now it sounds very cold and electronic, though if that's what you were going for, then kudos.
