Monkey Dancer 2 Critique my first track.(something house)

Alright guys....my first track here. Check it out and give me some constructive criticism. Not sure what genre to call this.

Disclaimer ='s I have no musical background, last formal musical training I had was in elementary. Decided 6 months ago at age 29 that I wanna learn to make music.

That being said I learned alot from doing this track and am eager to move on to the next track.

Fire away.

Well, I think you kinda wanted to sound more like dedamau5 as judging from the sounds you used. You play around with everything pretty nicely and add some elements to keep the track fresh. However I would like your kick to stand out a bit more and make the bass a little distorted. Mixdown ain't bad either, this is good for a first track.

Definitely was NOT trying to sound like Deadmau5. I can see how you would think that though. Thanks for listening and suggestions.
