Wow I really like this track. I think there's too much treble though. I would at least like the kick to be deeper. The intro is great. It definitely sounds like you are keeping a secret from us. I kinda wasn't feeling the little mouse squeak sounds (I can't think a better way to describe them) that came in around 2:40. I could definitely live without them. Is the the speed you wanted to use? I think I would like it a bit faster. But that's just me.

yeah I'm glad you mentioned the bass, I've heard it so many times I cant tell anymore. But I was thinking I need to do the final master on it and bring some more midbass in for the kicks. lol, the little mouse noise isn't supposed to be very loud it just ended up coming out really clear in the mastered mix. I may take the delay off it and stick it in the background more, or gate it and filter it a bit. Glad you like the track though. I think it came out really well.

what are you using for headphones and speakers. you are having a balance issue(way too much highs) its really bad in that department.

im using KRK rockit5 monitors and pioneer HDJ1000 headphones. I'll upload the new version of the track. I mastered that one after like 5 hours of working on music and my ears were tired. I went out for the old "car test" and I was like "WHOA. wtf." I added a second kick drum for some more sub thump on the kicks, and I toned down the mouse noise. I'll upload the new master in a few and you can tell me if its an improvement.

any tips on getting them to pop? i increased the master EQ on low and midlows a bit and helped a little bit but I am not sure what else I can do to it. It sounds brilliant out of my monitors, but thats always the case eh? lol. Time to go back to the car...

dont take my word for it, maybe others can comment.
your issue that im seeing is how its overall mixed, and would have to be remixed at places.

oh and by the way, you usually get what you give around here. you should comment on others tracks, its not nice to only receive feedback and never give. its not a rule, but courtesy.
