Rogers is not bad, I watched some of his past fights and he definitely can hit hard and is relatively quick for a big man.

Fedor is a beast though, I don't think it was ever in doubt that he would win. BAM that punch knocked rogers ass to the ground quick haha.

To my great disapppointment, this thread is completely unrelated to tennis phenom Roger Federer. Thought we might have the first ever NYTA tennis thread.

Thought Rogers did a great job just got caught like they all do against Fedor.

Mousasi is proving to be the man. He seemed disappointed in his performance but I thought he pretty easily handled Soukoudjou.

On the tennis topic, thinking about picking up "Open" today.

Overall, I was really impressed with the whole card.

I thought Rogers did about as good as anyone can do against Fedor...I had seen some of his quick KO wins before, and never really got to see him get tested. I was shocked at how well he did...great defensive groundwork (for a heavyweight) and obviously he can hit, if he cut Fedor with his first shot.

Anyway, looking forward to Fedor vs Overeem for the Strikeforce belt next year. If Fedor gets by Overeem, I think it will be tough for anyone to say he isn't the greatest in the history of the sport by far.

once he beats lesnar, then there will be no argument...

lesnar is a whole lot of man though, if fedor gets taken to the ground he might just get ground n pounded into oblivion.

lesnar's hands aren't as good as rogers though IMO, so if fedor keeps it standing up he would take him ez

I can confidantly say that without fighting Lesnar, Fedor will go down as the best P4P fighter in the history of this sport. A lot of Fedor's wins come from much bigger opponents then he.

Lesnar still has way too much to prove to be even considered a very good mixed martial artist. Especially when you compare him to the history of fighers that Fedor has beaten.

Lesnar is a joke. Yes, he is huge but that doesn't mean anything. He also barely has any fights under him. Fedor has fought huge men and always finds a way to win.
