not bad, but the flow isn't working. that second track was too repeatative. you went with 5 similar uplifting tracks then dropped into a myon remix and went slowish after that for a few too many. ashley after seven weeks was just, ugh, the morph mix. funny how the ashley on the beatport site sounds cleaner than the one you used. it wasn't just the track, was how it was eqed that threw me off as well.

transitions seem fine, i was listening passively (doing other stuff at the time).

i think with some track re-ordering, maybe a replacement or two, you'd be fine! it sounded good overall.

Yeah, know what you mean about the first 5, similar melodies, should of cut it at like 2 songs max.
Not a fan of morph? i think hes awesome! I got that track from beatport, doesnt sound as clean probably because i had echo on without noticing then used the filter so it scrambled it a bit.
For this mix though i concentrated purely on transitions (pointer i got given from my first mix on their) , next mix will be song order
cheers for listening

This mix is decent!!!

A couple of things i noticed though was your levels in the later half of the mix were up and down a little, but the biggest thing which really stuck out though was the eqing. To me you don't cut the incoming track enough and then blend it in which causes a raise in the volume of the overal mix. It does sound good at times and gives it a more driving sound but it does make the mixing stand out like a sore thumb.

I personally didn't mind the set structure, i like it going uplifting then less melody then back to uplifting.

Overall good effort so keep practicing your eqing.

thanks man!
not that im making excuses but im doing all the mix through my headphones because when i hook up the decks to the computer the computer speakers have a slight delay which totally throws me when trying to mix so i turn them off, so im just hoping on the levels being on ok, with the trim being set at the same position, kinda sucks but i have to get mixes up!
ill try sort something out for the next mix. Thanks, my tracklist could be more flowy but im really just trying to play all my tastes of trance in an hour, which sometimes doesnt work i know

cheers again for listening
