you can trick youtube into displaying a non-HD video in HD dimensions and also give it better sound

Thanks Sam! I tried adding &fmt=22 and that forces it into HD which is nice.

I think the bass might just be clipping or there is a little static in the background. I'm not sure, but I think in general there's only so much quality you can get out of youtube. Ah well. I'm back home now and too lazy to try and re-upload. It's good enough
