Big tech trance tune from me - Big rolling bassline! (soundcloud)

Interrupted by Richard Wilson

Hey folks this my first attempt at making a track in Ableton Live, had a lot of fun making it love to know what people think. Production might have suffered a bit its literally my 4th time ever using ableton and i lost some of my plugins too. Thanks hope ya like

Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

The break at 1.50 is where this track is at. Once you're used to Live i'd revisit it and rebuild the track around that idea, it's very nice!

Kudos though. My first try with Live ended in me telling it to f*ck off and I went back to Cubase

Thanks guys, tehlord so you like the uplifting chords and stabby things which is cool....but i have to be honest really what i was most hoping people would like is the rolling techy bit as I have always tried to make like a rtech tune and failed?

Did i fail again with the techy shit?

Depends how you mean fail. Did you wow ME with it? Not really.

Did you actually get of your arse, have a go and then get that bit closer to where you ultimately want to be?

Yup.

It's taken me two years of trial, error, expense and hair pulling frustration to get nowhere near where I ultimately want to be

It's still better than playing golf though.
