well you should go buy the program then, 7.0.3 is not even close to the last version (you're 15 versions away and i know the last hacked version of ableton was 7.0.3 due to some kid on the ableton forums responding like a retard). the reality is your midi clips don't need to be set for tempo, they are all clocked to the master. |
There are more recent live 7 cracks I'm pretty sure.
As far as the original question goes I'm a bit confused. Theres definately no bug. You need to look at where the grid lines are in the midi clip to work out where the notes are triggering. Live does something wierd with midi clips tempo. If you import them, they always display at the current project's tempo, even if they were recorded at a different tempo. Despite that, they still have the right relative timing, so its as if they've been "warped". Its confusing, but it means you never really need to adjust the timings, so I'm not sure why you're doing that. If it sounds in time when you import the clip, then just leave it alone.

My version is legit it's not cracked. Excuse me for forgetting the 0 although I kinda feel like everyone knew what I was talking about regardless. On top of that the reason I haven't upgraded yet is because I got incredibly comfortable and don't want to re-learn version 8 or have issues because I've never had any up until now with 7.(0!).3. If it ain't broke why fix it?
The problem is noticed especially if you pick up an arrangement via cutting and pasting it. All of the midi clips go from 120 (default and what it usually is at) to 136 (tempo master clock speed). Also some of the swing parameters change on some clips but others don't. I'm really starting to think this is a XP 64 bit compatibility problem instead of an ableton problem. I have system crashes from time to time to I never used to have...
