Best way to record a mix?

Hello,

I dont own decks or DJ software on my laptop but need to record a mix to burn to CD. I can get access to two 800MKIIs and an Ecler Nuo mixer and was wondering which is the best way to go about this?

I have a Dell Vostro 1720 if anybody needs to know if my laptop has a soundcard, I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance for help

Would you like to give us any information on what equipment you have available to you?

Seeing as you have access to CDJ's then you might aswell use them.

Assuming your laptop has a line-in connection, you need Audacity and an RCA to 3.5mm jack cable.

Run the cable from the record out on the back of the mixer to the line-in on the laptop, press record in Audacity and Bob's your Mother's brother.

Is the line in on the laptop where I plug the headphones in? I've got a headphone input and a mic input, which would it be? Thank you for your help by the way, greatly appreciated
