Serious point, i had to learn it to do this 15 minute trance performance at uni (20k system 10k subs..quality) anyway I basically took tracks I had already made and mixed them down into componant parts drums, bass etc. I ended up thinking things like why did i put that acid line in its shite? or why didnt i drop that second bass like that? It literally made me think like a DJ again and not a producer, for example low pass filtering after a break to add tension as a dj would on his mixer dropping things in and out sporadically. Totally re-thinking arrangement now (still cant tear me from my sx for producing) but for arrangement spot on!
Anyone know any cool tricks etc, im a total ableton noob.
Processing a highly structured and complex pattern of sensory input as a unified percept of "music" is probably one of the most elaborate features of the human brain.....understanding how music is perceived and how it may elicit intense sensations is far from being understood.

Oh sh#T! Ever have one of those days when you just can't seem to do anything right? Now, I just blew up our coffee machine at work. Anyway, I think I've finally got it right on both accounts. Am I correct that Lolo = Airwave = djairwave (i.e., the youtube link)? I sure as hell hope so, because I watched all those videos and I think I thanked Lolo for them at one point!
