Aris Grammenos - upcoming Greece superstar producer and dj - returns with a brillant work on No Border Recordings after doing a couple of remixes (incl. a wonderful white label mix of Trentemoller's "Miss you").
"26 Years Of Gravity" contains samples from a speech of Jiddu Krishnamurti. Krishnamurti was an Indian philosopher and writer who constantly stressed the need for a psychological revolution of every human mind and emphasized that such a revolution cannot be brought about by any external entity whether religious, political or social.
Aris tried to put a speech from Krishnamurti in a track and combined it with perfect strings and his great feeling for melodies. And the result is one of the biggest Progressive Trance tunes in 2009.
Along to the Original Mix come a couple of remixes. Vinylsurfer distorted the voice of Krishnamurti and delivered a driving Progressive House delicacy. Romey Boy made a dub mix with a great Big House sound and Vitaliy made a forward going Trance tune out of the Original. This big package is completed with a remix from an artist of our chillout sublabel Coffee Bay Recordings. Quality Blueback turned the Original in a chillout version with a stunning build-up and wonderful strings and piano melodies.
All in all a very interesting package with different styles and some words you may think about after listened to it.
