Over the years GlobalGathering has become exactly that, with festivals all over Europe and further afield it's popularity has reached fever pitch. 2009 sees the first ever European Festival Awards and the following GlobalGathering events have been nominated in the longlists:

• GlobalGathering Ukraine (Best medium festival)
• GlobalGathering Poland (Best medium festival)
• GlobalGathering Belarus (Best medium festival)
• GlobalGathering Russia (Best medium festival)
• GlobalGathering Turkey (Best small festival)

The first stage of voting is now open and ends on December 16th, this is to decide the shortlists. Fans then get the opportunity to vote again between December 16th and December 30th to decide the overall winners. To cast your vote click here
