On Friday December 4th 2009 In-Connection welcomes globe hopping sensation RONSKI SPEED "all the way" from Germany to the Level One Club for an EXCLUSIVE 2 hour set in a very special and rare UK appearance in Blackpool.
Moving up 29 places to #69 in the DJ MAG Top 100 awards 2009 Ronski Speed is truly a global sensation.
"If passport stamps are anything to go by, Ronski Speed is up there with the best.
"I've been to America, Russia, the Czech Republic, the UK, Holland, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Brazil, The Middle East, Moldova and also India for the first time," he says, reeling off a list that would require an entire new rainforest to offset it.
"I even went to Macao, in China, for the Venetian Electronic Dance Music Festival. That was interesting," he adds, with the air of someone who probably has a high interest threshold there days.
No surprise then that 2009 has been "a very successful year." With his album 'Pure Devotion' released at the end of 2008, its singles have been making waves up throughout the year, with 'Overfloat' leading the way before both 'Are You?' and 'The Deep Devine', two vocals tracks supported by the likes of Above & Beyond, hit the top of the Beatport trance chart.
Remixes for Oceanlab, Dennis Sheperd, Super8 & Tab, Lange, Sebastian Sand and Matt Cerf gave further impetus, and the recent release of compilation 'Positive Ways 5' has given fans another 11 previously unreleased tracks and remixes to see them through the dark winter months." - Words: Joe Roberts (DJ MAG Top 100)
Supporting Ronski will be Blackpool hero "Sam Alame" with his long awaited return after "smashing" the In-Connection all day event back in July. Expect music with energy to please the most authentic of adrenaline junkies, enough to make even Jenson Button proud.
As always supporting Ronski and Sam will be the In-Connection residents Rick Turner and Pete Bromage doings a special "back to back" set to kick things off, along with last but not least Andy P aka "Staat Van Mening" taking control after Ronski's exclusive 2 hour set.
