Tranceaddict offer (Mastering)

Hey,

for those who don't know me, my name is Joe and I produce/DJ as Littlefoot (http://www.myspace.com/littlefootgarage).. and I also run Subsequent Mastering.

Our aim to provide bedroom producers and labels alike with a dirt cheap service, but with the real studio attitude and equipment..

sorry if this seems spam-tastic, it's not meant to!

Basically... I have had lots of really promising work from guys getting in touch from this forum, and I would like to extend my thanks by offering a bit of a dealio for ya!

http://www.subsequentmastering.com is our site, and our standard charge is £15 pounds a track, but I am willing to offer a 50% off service for Trance Addict producers util the end of October!

all you have to do is quote "Tranceaddict is for the win!" in your email subject.

seems a bit crazy? not really, I just want to get involed deeper into certain scene, such as the Trance scene, to grow alongside the next generaton of producers, Im not about this "top down" mastering a lot of places seem to be offering.

Anyway, if you're still needing to be convinced.. please allow me to master any of your tunes for free, no strings attatched...

Hope this helps someone and we can work together,

Joe, Subsequent Mastering

ps he're a pic of my studio being tidy for once!

Yea what hardware. £15 is way cheap.

Hi Richard, I don't do any hardware processing, hence my overheads are low and my charging price is low.

I endevour to expand into outboard in the next year and am looking at buying this bad boy to do so:

I believe it's not worth processing analogue unless your DA-AD convertors are incredible, as you're only going to loose depth of field and introudce jitter.

The plug-ins I do use are of esteemed quality and I have been using daily for a year or so.. so hopefully I am pretty hot on them!

I dont believe in "before and after snippits".. anyone can fake them.. send me a tune, and I will do a full master for free, I'd rather sell the service on truth if thats ok by you!

Hope this answers your questions!

I wouldn't go that far, but obviously you want the best quality AD/DA you can afford. Also, check out the Lavry Gold Series (more expensive).

Believe me I've checked em out, I was tempted to get a Lavry black but I got a great deal on the Benchmark.

But like I say, let's let your ears do the decieding, I have seen a lot of "bedroom mastering" houses come and go and I think I can offer a superior service at a similar price if you're interested

thanks

Joe @ Subsequent Mastering

Yeah, I heard soundwise they are just a little bit better than the Benchmark DAC1, which I adore!

But the interface is slightly more annoying I think, up and down buttons = yuck!

Have you ever used Cranesong stuff? now there is some well designed shit!

Yeah, I'll have mine going through a passive volume attenuator, so I'm not to concerned about it.

Yeah, I hear a lot of good things about them, but too rich for my blood.

Im saving up for the HEDD because I think it's exactly what I need, and the reviews / MEs I have spoken to about it say it's some of the best conversion they have heard, the exciters are just a very very nice cherry on the cake!

what Monitor Control you using with the Black? I havn't found one I've been pleased with, noise or distortion wise

I'm using a Presonus Central Station. Its a fairly inexpensive passive attenuation controller. Its passive and very clean. Several of the people I know who produce have the same units with no complaints. If I had the money, I'd probably upgrade to a Dangerous Music Monitor ST, but at $1,800, there are other things that are more important.
