man in your place i wouldnt be djing and partying the weekend right before ), but good luck in any case ))
in other news i love how prog techno is bringing techno and prog/psy fans and those genres in general are getting closer together. Nowadays most new wave techno/minimal jocks play at least some prog techno in their sets and most prog techno/psy artists sets consist of like half of new wave techno/minimal stuff (although new wave techno minimal is kinda a generic term and would probably include prog techno too )), what i implied here is stuff like but not limited to: turkish/italo/ukrainian/bulgarian sounds/electrish-tech etc). Like some examples on top of my head: most major techno jock supporting khainz/sql/bansi&riktam, bertolini and piatto remixing ace ventura - who by the way i just recently saw bigging up spartaque for example, yotopia getting released on stereo seven plus etc. Nowadays the lines between these genres become more blurry and producers cross over to sounds and alot of stuff that is coming out is something the fans of both psy and techno backgrounds can agree on (even though by any means there is really very few elements of psy still left over even in the more psy crowd oriented material, just the more robotic, progressive feel and more use of fx), which in the end means more events interesting to the both crowds )).

This is precisely why we founded Drumlore--to focus on what some people are calling "progressive" techno... this whole mish-mash of minimal, progressive house, and psytrance!

Argh, fuck no.
I'm happy calling it "techno" but no one should confuse it with Detroit.
