Soul Brother Number One, Mr. Dynamite Soul, and foremost The Godfather of Soul, James Brown in undoubtedly one of the most important artists of our time. If ever there was a man who truly influenced the course of popular culture and music as we know it today it's James Brown. From hip-hop, funk, to RnB, modern music owes a debt of gratitude to the most sampled man of all time.

James Brown left us on Christmas Day 2006, yet his legacy lives on. On Boxing day, Saturday December 26th, 2009, we celebrate the man and music, with an audio/visual retrospective of his life. Spinning his original hits, cover tunes, remixes and the JB's inspired grooves - it's time to "To Get Down and Get on the Good Foot!"
