Obama claims America is the greatest country during Oprah interview!
Ya, I am sorry but I have a hard time believing that. Obama is a good man who knows what he's doing. But calling America the greatest country and claiming the 21st century as "The American Century" is ludicrous considering how certain events that transpired over the last couple of years, Obama should not be making that claim.

You could have said the same thing in 1933. Didn't mean much. America may not be rising as it once did, but it certainly still is #1 by a long shot, in influence, economy, military, etc. America did good by World War II, having no competition from war ravaged countries. Now that they have recovered, countries like China are catching up.
