But the thing I like about steam is I can NEVER lose my games, can always redownload them. DRM done right if you ask me!

i would prefer to have the option not to install it, but alas...

The first STALKER game is *definitely* worth $2. I can't comment on Clear Sky, but the original was creepy as hell and has a rather extensive modding community/replay value.
