32gb is the biggest for time and all eternity. SDHC maxes out at 32gb. SDXC is anything above 32gb.

I seriously have no idea what to do tbh. I have hd shooting video-wise which would be good and just would rather pay a tiny bit more for a load more space, a lways have plenty than not enough. Also since I plan to keep this camera for upto 10+ years if possible, then it makes sense to buy once

Looks pretty good. Leica lenses are among the best for point-and-shoot cameras.

Aperture could be a little better, but it's certainly not bad.

Aye. I mean I don't need an SLR, i will never be that good but I like to take pics and esp when I'm abroad, recapture the moments, and often on my old camera they just never came out right, but this has good reviews and I took some advise from people before going for it. Should do what I need

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain in the arse travelling with a DSLR too. I'm heading off on holiday for a week or so this afternoon, and my camera backpack is loaded up with cam + 2 big lenses + 3 small lenses + flash + laptop

The Panasonic will take great pics, I'm sure

Stu, can you recommend me a cheap entry level DSLR?

i was looking at these two: Alpha 300 and E520 but i dunno..

should i go with one of them or is there a better option(in the similar price range)?

Out of those 2, I'd probably recommend the Sony, purely as the sensor quality is better. I don't know too much about Sony/Olympus gear though, since all my gear is Canon. Both of those cams have the advantage of having image stabilisation in the body itself, rather than in the lens, but I'd still recommend checking out some of the entry level Canon cams.

The Canon xSi/450D is still a pretty good (and cheap) buy for an entry level camera. You just have to work out what kind of lens you want to use with it. The kit lenses you get with the body are never really that good (mostly, anyway).

Edit: The Olympus cam there is also pretty fucking small. My gf has an E620 for a back-up body and I find it annoying to use, since I have big hands.
