Thats a good point and usually I'm pretty good about realizing what tunes go together and when I am forcing it. But sometimes they really do go together and the only problem is the outro just fizzles away. I find it more in tech-house type tunes

Tons of people do this. Think about radio stations that edit out profanity in songs. They do it all the time. Besides, hearing a track in a club or bar with some different edits or changes is better than hearing that same track played the same way a bunch of times.
