i seem to recall that chris crossland was baught a subscription to a beer club for christmas. where he will recieve X amount of bottles of various beers everymonth.

ive had a quick look on google, but cant find anything that looks particularly great. has anyone else subscribed to a beer club?.. where they a fuckin rip off [like the one i found on google] .. was it worth the money?... and above all else.. was the beer anygood?

well this is one that i found on google

beer club of britain

it seems decent enough.. drinks vary from, european beers, to english ales.. but its a damn rip off.. £40 + £7 P+P for 20 bottles, is damn expensive .. and you only get them every 3 months. plus unless im reading it wrong.. its £40 for every 3 months

It's very expensive, yeah. But it depends how much you like tasting different beers! If you enjoy it, go for it, I'm sure I will at some point. There are some great beers out there after all.

I did a wine one a while back, but cancelled it after my first package, as I was a bit let down. Wasn't worth the money in my opinion, but it might just have been a bad company.

not a club per se jay but there are thousands of microbreweries here these days. http://www.uk-pub-sales.net/uk-microbreweries/ for example. I'd look at hunting stuff down from them.

Several of my friends got some of these things for Christmas. I'll have to ask them if they like them/which ones they get, once they start getting shipments.

i didn't ask you ian.

go habs go.

a beer club is only good if you live in a place that has shit selection. You end up paying more in general for many beers that you could buy locally without paying shipping.
