Are you talking about that sort of delay effect? Where the vocal hits and repeats lower and lower like a delay but is washed out in reverb?

Just not sure what the exact effect is you're talking about. Can you find a track with it? Would make it a lot easier for people to explain..

check out that natlife water whispers (trance remix) track in the producers promotion thread. its the best example i can think of off the top of my head

Just add the vocal to another channel, turn the dry on your reverb to zero or a very little bit, lots of wet, big room. I am not sure if that's what you mean, but that's how I'd do it.

I've done similar stuff to this in Ableton by using Beat Repeat on a send with some reverb.
