Report authors Wendell Cox and Hugh Pavletich sad that to be affordable, housing prices have to be equivalent to approximately three years' income.

I would have thought NYC to be higher on the list.

Maybe it only feels higher since that is where I am looking.

^^^oh yes, I am feeling the heat of NYC right now, too!

I might be 40 by the time I can own an actual "HOUSE" (as opposed to apartment).......and I make a fairly decent living And I cant even get into what kinda house you actually can buy for $500-750,000........pieces of shit!! (wood paneling, really???)

What like on the side of the house wood panelling? Renovate...prob cost an arm and a leg unless you do it yourself. I was in Queens and saw a house on the inside that was like I just walked into the 70s w wood panelling...lol very cool.

Building materials and renovation/construction cost in the US is A LOT more expensive vs here in Canada. I always get family from Minnesota and Texas over and they're so amazed that every house has bricks.

Vancouver will have a major dropoff after the olympics. Just like every city that hosts the olympics.
