By unorthodox, I mean to imply smells that you find particularly good or bad that aren't an easy or typical answer. (Duh, everyone likes the smell of fresh linens and everyone hates the smell of dog shit.)


Bad:
The butter from microwave popcorn, before it's been cooked.
Unburnt gasoline.

Good:
Paper fresh out of the copier.
Burnt gasoline.

Bad:
The smell of your girlfriends cooch

summer thunderstorms (you know that palpable summer air smell)

strawberries

i dunno.

Diesel exhaust on a cold day (reminds me of taking the ski bus up every weekend in middle school).

i like the smell of skunks now, personally. always reminds me of good green.

ohh and hose water smell (its hard to explain)

like when i wash my car in the summer and the smell of the water comin out of the hose when the sprayer is on. niiiiiiiice.. reminds me of spraying my dog down on a hot day too while im washin the car.
