trying to convert old mp4 to something more useful like avi or wmv i can edit... anyone know of a good FREE software for this kinda job? google just gives me crap.

that program doesnt convert from mp4. only to mp4. so that wont do.

Just hang around until a little later tonight, some spam bot will tell you how you can convert anything to anything with golf clubs.

for mp4 -> avi all you need to do is change the file extension
