So pleased I decided to go against my better judgment & attend this one. It was glorious to hear trance from beginning to end once again.
Also, it would appear that there is a universal trance rule now: If you're attending a trance show, one can rest assured that at least one Ferry Corsten tune will be played.
Well done Vola!

After only 3 hours of sleep, a huge hangover, only a cheeseburger for the whole day/night, running around like a madman all day long to get the place ready....Very very tired right now about to crash and not wake up for 2 days lol
First of all I would like to thank all of you for the AMAZING support you've shown tonight! I would like to note that this party would have not happened without PureTrance, thanks Kevin & Adam! This was their party and they deserve the round of applause!
I would also like thank Afterhours.fm for broadcasting live from Vola
On behalf of Vola I would like to apologize about a few things:
1. I understand that some people had a little trouble at coat check. I will make sure that things are a bit more organized at the next event.
2. There was a buzzing sound coming from the speakers (not sure if some of you noticed) The mixer that controls everything decided to crap out on us and there is no way we could swap the main mixer while the music was playing. This will also be taken care of
3. As for the music cutting out when Stoneface & Terminal came on, the power plug was pulled from the CDJ. I guess one of the negatives of having the crowd so close to the dj booth, but the benefit is the interaction. Will also make sure there is a better set-up to prevent this from happening again. I think it safe to say we can blame Veronica for this.
4. As for the heat, well lol the AC's were on at full blast haha
I hope to see you all out on February 12th for Thrillseekers!!

a more proper review when I wake up, just got home. Would like once again thank Oz and Kevin as well as the DJs for allowing afterhours to do the broadcast of this great event. It was great seeing familiar faces again as well as some new ones..you know who you are, more on that later. All in all, I'm real tired, hope the broadcast went well and download links should be up at some point too.
