What genre of music ...?

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

The tracks were played by Schulz, but don't worry : aren't the usual stuff he plays. I like this kind of track, very deep and dark . I'd love to listen more of this style, but I know neither the tracks names nor the genre.

If anyone knows good albums/artists/compilations of this style, please, post them.

Check out his "Dakota" alias releases. Also the stuff off Coldharbour Red, if I'm not mistaken, release this kind of darker "trance".

This doesn't sound like Dakota alias or Coldharbour at all. Also Coldharbour Red only releases these "Nu Trance" Electro-Trance shit.
Honestly it doesn't even sound like Trance.

I don't know, some more tribal sounding techno or even Trance? But honestly, I have no idea.

To clear things up:

Coldharbour (old style):

Dakota Alias: (I think its boring but whatever)

Coldharbour Red: (Oh god this stuff is so horrible)

It sounds a lot like dark prog to me, but I'd agree there's an older techno feel to the percussion and the bassline.

There was a thread on dark prog recently. Do a search and you'll find plenty of tracks, old and new. See if they hit the same buttons for you as this track and then report back.

Schulz played it months ago and yes, it sounds similar to Dakota - Progression, especially the first 2-3 minutes.

I like this a lot, but don't know where to find more.

Both tracks or just one of them? I think you just maybe listened to the track hosted in youtube; the second link wasn't very visible so I changed the title of it. The track on youtube was the kick off of the set; the tune of the second link came @20 min and lasts for at least 10 minutes, but I just ripped seven.

Thanks by the advice, but I probably saw it; I don't post often here but I've been a lurker for years.Anyway, I'll check it again . Also, after hearing these IDs I tried to find similar stuff in some Radio Shows like Progrez, Global Trance Grooves and - obviously - Global DJ Broadcast. Unfornutately, the prog played wasn't of this kind.

Same here. For me Progression is the best track produced under the Dakota moniker and still remains unreleased.
