Looking to upgrade my Behringer DJX 700

I'm considering upgrading to a better mixer, but I am not really sure what to go for. I am looking for something that has better than average sound output. Also, it would be nice to have some filters in the mixers. I use effects, but they are not the most important to me. I spin mostly techno, minimal, tech, some tribal.

I am trying to stay around the 500-800 dollar range. What do you guys recommend?

Allen & Heath Xone 42

it's 900, so a little more than what you're looking for but not by much. It has a really pro filter and impeccable sound output.

The Xone 42 is a good one. Another one of my favorites has been the Denon 1500s. I know a few people are gonna give me shit about it, but it has great qualities and really good sound to it. Another nice thing about the 1500, which lacks on other mixers. The digital out is independent. Meaning no matter what you do to the master out level it's not affected. The digital out records everything. Input, effects, pan, etc. But ignores the master volume

That's a well-hidden but very handy feature.

Xone 42 seems bad ass!
Xone 32 is great too, and like 1/2 the price.

I was thinking Allen & Heath as well since they are known for their amazing sound quality. Any other suggestions other than the Allen & Heath and the Denon 1500?

So it's basically like a record out, just digital?

Yep. It may do other things as well, but I use it for recording. Sample rate for the output is fixed at 44.1k. I was told it can be modified to 48 or higher.

Your output choices on the 1500,

Mains out L-R (xlr and rca)
Booth out L-R (rca)
Record out L-R (rca)
Record out Coaxial Digital Out (rca)

There's also an attenuator on the back for both main outs.

So here are my choices so far.

Rane 68, Pioneer DJM-600, Allen & Heath Xone 42, Allen & Heath Xone 62.

What you guys think?

Honestly, among those, go with the 42. It's the most modern and probably the best of them.

Look at Eclers too, particularly the Nuo series.

The 42. Look for a silver one because you can find it for 700 at some places.

DO IT.
