Electric because I don't like the smooth shave feel.

any recomendations?
Waterproof Shavers should be great in the shower.
I use corded, lower end Remington 3 rotating heads. Its lasted me 6+ years I credit it being corded, while less convenient keep the blades spinning faster and thus keeps them from wearing out.
Other factors that effect longevity and quality of shave is the thickness of your facial hair and how quick it grows. I can go for a couple of days without shaving and while my hair is full I've seen ppl with a lot thicker.
As far as the shower shavers I've never used one but I'd assume they cut closer and cleaner because your hair is wet. Either way I still believe a razor gives a closer/smoother shave that lasts longer. But this comes at a price of taking longer and gives you more skin irritation.

I've used a razor for eight years (straight razor for a few months) and recently got an electric razor.
Although the electric doesn't leave the face as smooth as the razor, shaving is no longer painful. Give me an electric any day.

Currently electric. I had to shave with a blade every other day because it didn't grow enough, with an electric razor it didn't have that problem.
