I'm not worried about fire, I am worried about my mixer.
What about when people play with their equipment in flight cases? Do you guys not experience any overly exessive heat build up? = equipment failure?

no dont worry about it. these things are made to handle extreme situations, u can almost throw water on them. ive been in clubs with 50 degrees celsius, 100% humidity (well almost), no ventilations, and the gear still had no problems. the dj couldnt even light up a smoke, caus nothing would burn in there.

yea, i've played in some extreme situations, heat build up isn't much of a problem or issue
if it does concern you, install a couple of those computer fans in your table to allow for some airflow
