there is this turkish doner kebab place its a corner place in playa d'en boss all the way at the end of the main street which was really good and the only decent place i liked, other then that burger king did it for me but it was expensive hahah

You found time to eat? I actually think I ate at the Burger King in Playa d'en Bossa also. There was an Italian restaurant a couple doors down where the waiter was speaking to us in Italian. lol Don't think it was that bad. Other than that, I would make myself a morning omlette myself. Kinda weird how they don't refrigerate their eggs in Spain, guess its a US thing. I always thought eggs had to be refrigerated but apparantly not.


How's the food at Pacha? I hear you can eat there, and then pretty much walk into the club w/o paying cover.

the best way is making ur own food thats what we did most of the time and much cheaper

Yeah, that's pretty much what we plan on doing for the most part. But it is nice to go out to dinner though for the sake of going out.

I was kind of shocked at the food situation at first too but wow, can't believe people would go to Ibiza and eat Burger King and KFC. I don't eat that shit here lol.
We had no problem finding good food though. About the only place we found worth while in Playa d'en Bossa was Moorea and one other place that we had a great meal at but can't remember the name. Maybe Michelle will chime in. Also had lunch at Pago Pago which was OK. But we took everyones advise and rented a car and got out of Playa d'en Bossa. San Antonio for the most part had tourist food too. Bambuddah Grove was just OK IMO. Amazing vibe though for sure. We just drove around and found cool little isolated random beach restaurants on the sand and such and had amazing seafood, paella, tapas etc. Tropicana was good. Probably my favorite meal was at Can Den Parra in the Dalt Vila in Ibizatown even though we both got food poisoning lol. Damn unpasteurized goat cheese Don't really remember the names of the rest of the places we ate at unfortunately.

I gotta say there was a day that we went to the KFC/Pizza Hut because we were in a hurry...and holy SHIT it is SO much better than it is here

Ibiza has some amazing restaurants, but you have to get out of the rave-tourist areas like PDB in order find them. Many of them are in Ibiza Town, and some of the smaller cities around the Island.


- Check out Tentazione at Dalt Villa. Proper Italian Food at a reasonable price. Great experience.

- Cap des Falco near Salinas Beach is an amazing dining experience, particularly at Sunset. Speaking of Salinas, you can go to Salinas Beach and find several good restaurants right on the beach that serve fresh seafood - grilled Sardines and Calamari etc.

- If you want a good Paella, go to Blue Marlin in Cala Jondal on a Sunday. Its fantastic.

- As Bas mentioned, Bambuddha Grove is an amazing dining experience, particularly in large groups before hitting the club.

But in my opinion, the best dining experiences on the Island can be found in its various Chiringuitos - Small restaurants located in Coves and Beaches. Check out El Chiringuito at Cala Gracioneta for an amazing romantic dinner. You can pull up to the beach in a Gondola, enjoy an amazing meal of fresh grilled seafood, Hierbas Ibicencas, while being entertained by dancers. Its a fantastic experience.

The best way to enjoy the Island is by the Beach-Restaurant-Party formula - That is, every day, try a new beach, a new dining experience (however simple or posh), and a new pary (whether bar, lounge, outdoor festival, or Discoteca).

We went to the place next to Jet Apartments (passible) twice.
We tried 2 other places in Playa d'en Bossa and they were awful.
Cafe del Mar isn't very good either.


In Ibiza town we went to El Olivo and Il Pavone: both were awesome.


On another note, I have almost finalized the dates I'll be on the island this summer... woo.
