Too many plug-ins syndrome

Glancing through Live recently, I noticed that I had a crapload of plug-ins, but most of them barely got any use. I hate it when things feel cluttered, so I deleted a ton of them and left the fifteen or so I really like. Now they all fit nicely on the screen without scrolling and I feel better.

Anyone else gone through this before?

Yeah, I've always had the approach of less is more. But I'm starting to swing back the other way now too. I think theres some great stuff out there at the moment, and to be honest I've got GAS.

I know a couple of well known producers who feel a similar way too.

In spite of this thread I've got my eyes on Fabfilter's Volcano filter plug-in. I had the demo and greatly enjoyed it, but it expired months ago and since then I've wanted to buy the full version.

These days I find myself less excited about new synth plugs than about effects.

What do you mean by "combo?" The effects bundle?

Yes, I'm interested.

Did you get a separate license for each plug or just one license for the whole bundle?
