During 2004, the term "mcprog' was coined to describe the dark, melodic, euphoric progressive genre with deep bass lines that was supported by Markus Schulz and many other dj's. "Mcprog" was the type of progressive that wasn't either house or trance, while at the same wasn't a fuse of them either. Unfortunately, this type of progressive went lost somewhere. Perhaps it became too popular and people got tired of it or maybe it was just too boring for some. This mix is what the 2004 "mcprog" was to me. The tracks are harmonically mixed for your listening pleasure. I have also put in the tracklist, the harmonic key of each song, its corresponding camelot number and the general BPM the song was played at. Criticism is welcome. Enjoy!

i checked this out solely out of curiousity of the last mashup with telefon tel aviv. technically sound, but for the mix being advertised as "harmonically mixed" there sure didn't seem to be a whole lot of thought going into it, harmonically speaking. imo. i felt that there was one or two transitions that made sense harmonically but the rest of it was at best complimentary and at worst slightly dissonant. also, for some reason you decided to omit the track that i was curious about- the telefon tel aviv one. i don't know if you upped the wrong version of the mix or something, but the track ended after the 93 returning mix. it sounded like a new track was going to mix in, but then.. nothing.

I tend to play just the ending of 'Telefon Tel Aviv - The Birds' for most of my sets instead of the whole song. I just like the way it sounds. Sorry to mislead you there. The idea of the mash up at the end was to lead you into thinking another song was coming but then just ends, kinda like a tease and makes you want more. That was my goal though. I'm not sure it worked for some people. It was kind of experimental on my part so I can understand if it confused you. I tried throwing in more mashups and loops to make it a more truer harmonic mix, but it just turned out too messy sounding to me.

I do have a mix where I used "The Birds" as an intro in which I played whole.

Telefon Tel Aviv - The Birds (Original Mix)
Pryda - Alfon (Original Mix)
Answer42 ft. Belinda Frank - Pink Houses (Original Mix)
PROFF - Glittering Puzzle (Original Mix)
Daniel Portman - Exhale (Original Mix)
Barnes & Heatcliff - Pyjamaparty (Original Mix)
Arnej ft Josie - Strangers We've Become (Tech Dub)
Blackwatch & Greed - Gentle Rain 2008 (Russell G Remix)
Deadmau5 - Alone With You (Original Mix)
Inkfish, David West - Hello Piano (Sebastien Leger Remix)
Way Out West - Only Love (Original Club Mix)
Telefon Tel Aviv - The Birds (Original Mix)

It bit more diverse mix. It was for a radio show.

Thanks for the listens and replies!
