Anyone have this? Thinking about pulling the trigger. Would love to hear some comments on it.

Not really used many tube saturation plugins myself but I'm hearing good things about the new Wavearts Tube Saturation plug, hear it hammers the CPU though.

Just one more to add to consideration.

if you're on Logic have you tried the tape delay plugin, set the delay to zero and just use it for adding tape saturation. Not sure how muc it differs from tube stuff

Another idea on Logic is to use the Auto Filter and set it on the Crunch Modulator preset. It creates some crazy tape saturation/overdrive effects.

All of the SPL plug-ins are awesome. TwinTube just adds warmth and fatness to anything and everything. You can just crank the knobs to max and you still have a very good sound. My only gripe with it is that there's no output volume control, so it's hard to A/B your results.

I think you can demo it without an iLok. Not sure what the demo limitations are, but at least try it before purchasing. I think you'll enjoy it quite a bit.

Nice will try this one out.

Just got Logic and I must say its got alot of create features that either sound great or make your life alot easier

This is a good free tape plugin by Massey who worked on TL Space, its called TAPE HEAD

Sorry, I meant Auto Filter, not Audio Filter.
