I'm creating this thread to house my bumps for weekly episodes. After this week I will simply post here once every Thursday linking to the proper thread in the 'DJ Sets' section of TA.

EPISODE 004 | March 25th, 2010: Camila Diaz & Thee-O

Two tech giants take over open house for this special double header! First is Camila Diaz from Buenos Aires. Her productions and DJ sets make her one of the most in demand DJs in Argentina. I noticed her versitility and commitment to quality tech house when I played with her at the Kapital Electronic Music Festival in Quito, Ecuardor last April. You'll really enjoy this one...

The second hour of Episode 004 is brought to us by L.A. dance music legend, Thee-O. He has countless productions out and has gained the support of top DJs like Paul Oakenfold, Steve Lawler, and John Digweed. His imprint, Biohazard, has become known for it's hypnotic blend of tech house and Thee-O did remix duties for Raising Trees - part of my Green Thumb EP - due out this month on PH Recordings.

EPISODE 005 | April 1st, 2010: Tom Morgan (Special WMC Mix)

Tom Morgan comes to us all the way from London but this special mix was recorded live for Open House from Shine (Shelborne Beach Resort) in Miami Beach at the 2010 Miami WMC. He assists with A&R for Desyn Masiello's Alternative Route label, and he recently launched his own imprint, Discoteca. Between the two, he has quality house music coming out the ears. From deep to progressive, he is versitile and knows how to rock a party - this is why he has played in the hottest clubs in over 20 countries - and he's only in his mid-twenties...This one is not to miss!

EPISODE 006 | April 8th, 2010: Boris MD

Scrubs and a scalpel are far from traditional attire and equipment for a DJ, but then again Boris MD isn't your conventional DJ. A medical doctor, a surgeon no less, is the last person you would expect to find behind turntables at filled-to-capacity venues and a DJ is the least likely person to conduct surgery in the operating room. Yet, from the sounds of it music is just what the doctor ordered, medicine for the mind, body and soul. You can expect great things from Boris MD; the best is definitely yet to come. This is one doctor who is ready to rock the house and he's licensed to do it. Boris MD has been in the scene for quite some time. As a resident for Giant, he has played alongside the biggest names in the game. As part of Departure he helped to create "Without You Near" which became a timeless dance floor hit. All of this while being a first rate surgeon.

Hi Everyone!

Episode 007 of Open House featuring Louis Osbourne is now available on iTunes!

From China to the Czech Republic and Dublin to Dubai, his ability to move smoothly between underground house and techno and his ear for cutting edge electronic music mean that Louis Osbourne has been a regular fixture at world-renowned clubs like U60311 (Frankfurt), Spundae (LA), Polar TV (Berlin), Tribehouse (Dusseldorf), Centro Fly (New York), D-Edge (Sao Paulo), Home (Sydney), Bugged Out (Liverpool) and Pacha and Amnesia (both Ibiza).

Louis has also held a residency at Birmingham techno institution House of God (from 1996 to 2002) and has played at all the big dance festivals, including Creamfields, God’s Kitchen Homelands, and Oxegen.

Louis has been spending more time than ever in the studio and has had projects signed to German labels Kingdome Kome Black & Mylo records. His first release for the label, entitled “Maia,” is out now and includes a Ramon Zenker Remix (Hardfloor). The track gained support from the likes of Steve Lawler, Carl Cox, King Unique, Deepgroove and D.Ramirez & many more.

After having spent the previous 3 years gaining a Law degree alongside his music career (“I felt like I needed to broaden my horizons”), Louis is back with a bang focusing on his music projects 100%. He has just formed Mija Recordings which launched in September to critical acclaim; he has Mija parties taking place in Frankfurt & other locations in the coming months; and now has his radio show, Louis Osbourne presents Mija Music on RTÉ Pulse, with syndications going out to other networks worldwide.

“Mija Recordings is a project that I have been developing since the start of the year. The record label has launched very well gaining widespread support from many big players on our first releases, gaining a compilation license on the debut EP. Obviously I‘m really happy about that, but there is so much more to come. The record label is the first phase of my plans with other Mija projects in development.” Many of the tracks he plays in this OH set are from Mija Recordings…

The first hour is mixed by Johnny Hawkes. Johnny has tested the limits of sound systems in some of L.A's best clubs. He is a rotating resident at MyHouse - One of LA's hottest Thurday night spots, and for the last 2 years, he has been the resident DJ at Libertine. Johnny is also resident DJ for Playboy Golf, was chosen as the ‘42 Below Vodka’ DJ during the first annual ‘Cocktail World Cup’ in Queenstown (New Zealand), and he has played exclusive parties for Sundance Film Festival.
