Water Taxi Beach - NYC’s premier outdoor waterfront beach venues - is hiring for ALL positions at ALL 3 locations for the Summer 2010 season! Water Taxi Beach features the World’s top acts and DJs playing outdoors for thousands of locals and tourists alike across three New York locations. We will continue accepting applications Friday April 23rd-Saturday April 24th. Follow-up interviews will begin the week after.

• Governors Island • Long Island City • South Street Seaport

Who:
• Bartenders (Efficient bar experience and Micros a plus
• Cooks (DoH Certificate a plus)
• Waitstaff/Hosts • Entertainers • Promoters
• Doorstaff • Barbacks/Busboys • DJs • Dancers
• Street Performers • Bathroom Attendants
• Managers • Photographer/Videographer

When:
• Friday April 23rd (4pm to 7pm)
• Saturday April 24th (3pm to 6pm)

Where:
• Water Taxi Beach @ South Street Seaport
Fulton Street & the East River, Pier 17 (North side)

Should have strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
Drive and passion a must.
Must have great people skills and excellent customer service skills.

I think in the state in NY you can work in an establishment that sells alcohol since 18.

I'm sure that to work in a place like that you need at least a year or 2 of high-volume bartending experience, though. If they're looking for the model type, they won't care about the experience. That's how most places (worth working at) in NYC work.

do you hire interpretive dancers? That is the form of expression I am really feeling at the moment...
