No! It's supposed to be as egregious as possible - if you did that, it'd just lose the funny.

It's off tempo too, and that's the beauty of it: I was singing humming a cappella and I had heard the music just a few times at the gym while I was listening to an audiobook (so I just heard it in the background when I was paying attention to something else).

If only I could sing completely off-key, to such an extent that the tune became unrecognisable, then it'd be even more awesome
