As long as there has been no compression done to the sounds, it is goood. Find unprocessed samples when you are dealing with percussion.
@storyteller...avoid thomas penton sample cd's, he jacks samples from other sample libraries and them limits the crap out of them to make them sound usable. They sound good in the pre master mix, but once you master the mix, it sounds harsh and shit.
