I want to post a video with some trance in the background on facebook, but facebook is notorious for removing videos with background music due to copyright infringements.

Is there a good way to check which trance songs are copyrighted or not? I don't want to put it on youtube because I can't tag my friends

youtube is ok

facebook is very strict. they removed one of my videos a while back that had some alternative music

I'm not sure why you would think it would be in the public domain o.o

For the most part youtube won't take down videos, unless it's a song from Armada or someone who likes to flex their legal muscles. Most other labels and artists don't mind.

I don't know about facebook.
