Behold, my arse. Converting from any extention to a .MP3 ?

I have absolutely NO luck when it comes to renaming files to .MP3
When I do so, all it does is add .MP3 at the end but yet its still an .HTML extention
I just don't get it, this goes the same with any other file I download then have to rename, all except for one but I forgot what it was.
It was the only one that ever worked after renaming

Anyhow know the deal, or had/have the same problem?

Cheers,
Zigg's

assuming you are using windos, in the folder where you want to rename the file, goto the "tools" menu, select "folder options", then the tab saying "view", then on the list of options that is there is one saying "hide extensions for known file types" un-select that and then click ok.

then you will be able to rename them files
